Dave Buckley wrote this song which we adopted as our Name direct link to Stan Hugill. Since we formed, we have hhad different people come up to us and say "My name is Hugill" but not related to Stan. The conversation continues for some time after that, and it would make our day if someone eventually states that they are the GrandSon or Grand Dauighter of Stan Hugill.
Some time ago now, a chap came up to us and presentred some drawings he had been doing while we were singing at Pebbles Bar in Watchet.
